Her experience in this field was acquired in the Raleigh, Apex, triangle region for the last 6 years. All establishments focused on medical aesthetics. Her previous time working in Dunn part time as an esthetician, while continuing her medical esthetics career, paved the way for her desire to bring these treatments back home. The dream was to always serve the area with corrective, result driven services. Lasers, mid depth chemical peels and more invasive skin treatments are a part of her skincare philosophy to attaining optimal skin integrity. Customization on all levels is her main focus in achieving progressive movement towards desired results. She believes everyone’s aesthetic journey is personal and meeting you in a comfortable place to explore these options, is her top priority. Kristen is a Registered Nurse and our Full-time Nurse Injector here at Moxie Aesthetics! Kristen graduated from nursing school in 2012 and began her career working at Wayne Memorial Hospital on the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit, where she gained invaluable experience that shaped her as an RN. Along with cardiology experience Kristen worked full-time in a busy Internal Medicine Practice for over 4 years. It was during this time that Kristen was lucky enough to attend her first of many aesthetics trainings and she fell in love! Kristen has attended numerous Allergan and Galderma trainings through the years, and was lucky enough to begin her full-time injecting career with a strong one on one mentorship her first year and a half injecting. Nurse Kristen notes that she has always loved cosmetics and that her family will tell you that she could put on her Mom’s lipstick perfectly without a mirror at age 4! Kristen has been working as a full-time Nurse Injector for over 5 years now. She is passionate about the ever changing and growing aesthetics industry and continues to actively pursue ongoing trainings to stay up to date on all of the latest techniques and procedures in an effort to bring you all the best treatments and safest techniques. Kristen is experienced in the administration of full face/neck neuromodulators “tox”, dermal filler, Sculptra (PLLA)(injectable collagen stimulator), chemical peels, microneedling and more! She takes great pride in the work she does and aims to provide natural results for her patients. After all, we believe the best work is virtually undetectable, and leaves you looking refreshed! Meet Moxie Anesthetic’s Medical Director, Dr. Mohan! Dr. Mohan is an ER and Aesthetic physician. She did her undergrad at University of Notre Dame and medical school at A.T. Still Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri and did her clerkship rotations in St. Louis. It is there that Dr. Mohan met and worked with dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and aesthetic medicine physicians that helped shape, drive, and nurture her passion and skills in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. Knowing she was passionate about emergency medicine and aesthetics, Dr. Mohan tailored her medical training and mentorship to include rotations in plastic surgery, orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, psychiatry, women’s health, OBGYN, and dermatology. She has had extensive training both inside and outside the OR and has been injecting since 2015. She has attended master courses in New York City with panels of plastic surgeons and stays up to date with the latest procedures, safety measures, and recommendations. Dr. Mohan is board-certified in American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) with a strong background in Emergency Medicine and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS). In April, she will also be board-certified in the American Board of Anti-aging and Regenerative Medicine (ABAARM). Dr. Mohan is excited to meet you and bring you the latest in aesthetic medicine.
